The Taguig City Library serves as a center for knowledge, innovation, and community learning. It provides residents with free access to books, digital resources, research tools, and modern e-library facilities designed to support students, professionals, and lifelong learners.
Through its network of community e-libraries, the City Government of Taguig ensures that quality education and information services remain accessible to every barangay, helping build an informed, skilled, and empowered community.
Vision & Mission
The central vision of Taguig City Library is to serve the general public, from cradle to grave in terms of their needs for information and provide the community with an access to the information they need to work, play, learn and govern with the use of modern technology, enhance research and facilitate knowledge and information access and retrieval.
The central mission of the TAGUIG CITY LIBRARY is to collect, classify, organize, and provide access to knowledge and information. In fulfilling this mission, TCL aims to preserve a valuable record of culture that can be passed down to succeeding generations as an essential link in this communication between the past, present, and the future. Whether the information is contained in books or in electronic formats, TCL will ensure that the record is preserved and made available for later use.

Inclusive Services
We enhance our services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) by offering guidance on printing their necessary documentation to help them access their social rights and privileges.
Library-Patron Shared Responsibility
The City Library pledges to deliver the same quality of service to all people regardless of age, sex, gender, religion, political affiliation, race, ethnicity, citizenship, nationality, social status, or disability. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not follow the library rules and regulations, provided that such refusal does not violate anti-discrimination laws.
Service Limitations
- Maximum of five printed pages per patron.
- One hour of computer access per patron.
- Library staff do not complete coursework for students.
